Nevada’s Center for Entrepreneurship and Technology (more popularly known as NCET) hosted its annual Tech Showcase and Awards Gala alongside the Economic Development Authority of Western Nevada (EDAWN) Awards on Thursday, July 15.
Now in its 14th year, the NCET Tech Awards celebrate the Northern Nevada individuals and companies who have greatly enhanced the growth and prestige of the technology community, while the EDAWN Awards recognize the people and resources that have played an integral part in contributing to the growth of our community. Key awards provided include Technology Company of the Year, Technologist of the Year, Medical/Health Services Company of the Year, Educator of the Year and Tech Advocates.
“This year’s awardees reflect a diverse array of industries and specialties, and we are thrilled to honor these companies and individuals, especially after prevailing over COVID-19 obstacles,” said Dave Archer, CEO of NCET. “Furthermore, this is NCET’s first fully in-person event since the pandemic began, and we are looking forward to bringing so many bright minds in technology together for an evening of networking and celebration.”
Additionally, NCET announced a new Tech Awards category that launched this year to reflect the excellence of the building and engineering workforces: Architectural/Engineering Firm of the Year.
